Anthony Yrigoyen
Front Ensemble Coordinator

Anthony Yrigoyen currently resides in El Paso, Texas where he is an active percussionist, private teacher, front ensemble consultant, and educator. He recently earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from The University of Texas at El Paso and has experience working with all levels of band and percussion. Throughout his college journey he was provided with several opportunities to perform with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, El Paso Opera, and El Paso Winds. His pageantry arts involvement began in 2011 playing vibraphone with the Revolution Drum and Bugle Corps, then later with the Bluecoats in 2013 and 2014. He has worked with front ensembles at Montwood, Pebble Hills, Coronado, El Paso, Eastlake, and Socorro High Schools. Anthony is currently the proud Assistant Band Director at El Dorado High School. This is Anthony's 2nd year with Arsenal.
Mando Torres
Battery Tech

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Armando Torres will be serving as Snare Tech. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Music Education at the University of Texas at El Paso. While at UTEP, he has performed in many ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Pantastics steel band, Marching Miners and the UTEP Dinner Theatre.
His experience in the marching arts includes two years at Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps, one year at Monarch Independent, and two years at Sun City Independent on snare drum.
As a proud advocate of the marching arts, Mr. Torres has taught at numerous high schools in the El Paso area for 7 years and is currently serving as the battery technician at Eastlake High School.
Jesus "JP" Perez
Front Ensemble Tech

Jesus Perez is a percussionist and teacher from El Paso, Texas. He has earned a Bachelors in Music Education as well as a Masters in Percussion Performance from The University of Texas at El Paso. During his time as a student he served many leadership roles to include a graduate teaching assistantship, where he led the drumline activities for 2 years.
He has taught students at various schools in the technician capacity and led clinics throughout the city including with the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestra where he served as the percussion coach. In 2018 Jesus was a Counselor and staff musician at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. He has also previously played with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra. He is currently a member of the El Paso Wind Symphony.
A former SoundSport member, Jesus was a part of Horizon Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016. He was also a member of Sun City Independent. He played Snare Drum for both organization.
Jesus currently teaches at Eastlake High School where he is an assistant band director and percussion specialist. He is also a staff member at Sun City Independent. 2023 will be JP's 2nd Season with Arsenal.
